Ram Chargers racing

I watched a very interesting show on the Speed Channnel tonight. It was about the Ram Chargers club of Chrysler engineers racing during the late '50s and thru the early '70s. Interviews with some of the club members and shots of their cars racing. It even had their original race car. A '49 Plymouth with the ugliest exhaust system ever seen on anything. I saw those guys race a few times. It sure brought back some memories. If it comes on again make sure you see it if you are a race fan.

Yeah, that's good stuff. Pretty cool how the Chrysler engineers went racing on their own in their spare time. That kind of enthusiasm helped make Chrysler the leader in the muscle car era (in my opinion).
