MY EXPERIENCE: I have used a Smarty S67 for at least 10 years. For those of you who are a bit new to the cummins engine or just don't know. Just adding HP to your cummins does not give you heart throbbing acceleration or pulling power. The stock RAM truck does not have serious pedal response. Several companies now are offering petal boosters. Let me tell you what I think they are doing. RAM cummins engines use TQ management. The new 2020/21 RAM with 400HP/1000TQ does not give you those numbers at low end with your foot on the floor. I think the pedal boosters are doing is they are modifying your engine to remove some of the TQ management. The Cummins engine with part or most TQ management is an absolute beast in low end pulling or pedal response. My truck with Smarty settings on #4 TQ is indescribably awesome. READ WARNINGS BELOW.
