This is an idea whose time has come, what could be easier to bomb and maintain than a straight 6 with a tilt front end? Any auto body types think it could be done? I think the front bumper, fenders, hood, grill and headlights/turn signals would need to tilt together while items such as radiator, core support, inner fenders, batteries, would need to remain stationary. anyone have any ideas? anyon ever take apart the nose of a Ram? ley me know what you think

That's a terrific idea.

Why not tilt the inner fenders too? Oh yeah, those batteries! Hhhmmm??? May have to think about that for a while... How about using Optimas and let them tilt along with the inner fenders?

Just think, if you could tilt it all a full 90 degrees like a Kenworth, would that make it easy to work on or what? I'd probably check my washer fluid more often if it was that cool.

I've thought about it also, but my brusgaurd/bumper combo would be in the way. I think it would require a 1 piece fiberglass front end and probably some custom hinges.
