need more info, can it be installed in any position? where are the inlet and outlets, are you planning on using the fuel heater option? why did you choose this one?

I believe it can only be mounted vertically like in the picture on the link, because there is a fuel drain at the bottom. I plan on running the heating option so I don't have to worry about gelling temps. I bout it because I run a lot of home brewed biodiesel and the quality for the most part is gov't standards but I just wanted to be safe than sorry. Plus it will make sure I have REALLY clean fuel, which is cool.

okey doke, then it sounds like your limited somewhere where you have plenty of vertical room, like in the same place the existing filter is located, makes for shorter lines for the heating feature.

I was hoping to mount it next to my Fass fuel pump which is mounted in the drivers side rear fender in front of the fuel inlet. It would mean running some longer lines for heating or possibly tapping off the transmission fluid line which may be close. There seems to be no room for it in the engine compartment due to it's size. I was hoping some one installed one of these or a aftermarket water separater and had a good place they found to place it.
