Well, I finally broke down and installed a Ramifier on my 03 CTD/HO/6spd w/24k this week. Installed the Ramifier first and just did a test drive around town, noticed a good bit of difference with the knob full on. Definitely get more run on with the motor, but understandable.

However the next day the Roktech CPS showed up and I installed and then took out on a test ride. On the interstate and around town I now get quite a bit of clack/knock while in cruise mode. It will go away with the pedal or if I turn the Ramifier to about 2/3 potential everything seems fine. Want to get some feedback and I will probably remove the modified CPS today at work and get used to the Ramifier first to see which one might be causing my clack. I was told the injectors would "adapt" but I sure as hell dont understand that concept. Any insight would be great short of a flame war.

Thanks

Yup -- do that. But just rotate the CPS back to the stock position. No need to remove it. It could just be an over advancement of the injection timing with the combo. Then you can fiddle with the position of the crank sensor by moving it up until the knock / clack comes back. Then move it back slightly. The smallest of movement makes a difference.
