Folks,
We got back from RamJam 06 held this year in Moab, UT. In a word - incredible - both the 'wheeling and the scenery. Our campsite at the KOA only cost $5/night, meals were 'on the town', and fuel. Providing you don't break parts, the whole trip cost us about $200 each, including fuel. Granted we were only coming from Colorado Springs so it was a 7-hour drive, and three of us (plus a dog) were all in one vehicle, but it was a pretty inexpensive trip. We all piled in my buddy Ben's '05 Cummins 4x4, a 3/4-ton 8000lb, 4-door, short bed rig, riding on Kore Pace suspension and 35" mudterrain tires - and that rig went everywhere, with only a couple bypasses to avoid scratching up the paint. It was awesome.
Here's some pics from Moab:
Day -1, Power Tour from Denver
We had 4 great trucks, and we convoy'd all the way in. The scenery was awesome! Christopher's Dodge set us up with a real nice spread of coffee and donuts under a canopy, lots of parking, and friendls faces. One of their guys was going to RJ as well in a beefy Rubicon.
