I found out about the ramside bed for our trucks. The company is Special Editions Inc. out of Belene (sp?) Indiana. They are sold through some dealers, but I don't know of any right now. If any one knows who has them let me know. If I decide to get a regular cab short bed I got to get one of these. I saw this in a book about Dodge trucks, in a book store.

'98 3500 4x4 qc isb TJM bumper/brush guard, warn winch, Hella 220 driving lights, Westin nerf bars, Ultra wheels,Century T-class shell, Sto-away carpet kit, power sliding rear window, custom two-tone leather seats, custom pin-stripping,Astra start remote starter,K&N air filter and more to come...

If the "RamSide " is the utility box that looks like the regular PU box I saw one on a truck on a dealer lot in Denver. They (the Dodge dealer) had it priced at 5k. I thought it looked like a great idea except for the price. It had the sticker of the Watson O J Co. of Denver on it. Their phone number is 303-295-2885 (I think). One problem I noted was the access lids are fiberglass and the lid on one side was warped and did not close tight. As a result it looked funny and the weather striping didn't seal. The latches where to the center of the lid so it looked like they could not be adjusted to remedy the problem. You will want to ask about the fit and finish once you track the box down. If they get the lids right it looks like a slick setup, you can't tell that it is not the stock box.

I hope this helps.

Hi guys
Check out this site and tell me if this is the same one. www.hidenside.com

I have been talking to this company for some time now about putting one of these on my truck but I was just waiting for the truck to come in. I was planning to fly to Nevada to look at them first. If this is the same one you saw then you just may have saved me a lot of time and money.
I am real pickey when it comes to detail.
You can download there whole brochure.
Please let me know if you think it's the same one. Thanks

The Hide-n-side looks very similar to the one that I saw but I don't think it is the same one. On the one that I saw the top of the storage compartment was even with the top of the bed rail rather than stepping down like the Hide-n -side does in the view from the rear.
