last week i ran out of fuel even though the gauge read 1/8 tank and my low fuel light didnt come on,#@$%! now the truck feels sluggish. it feels like a stock truck even with the edge chip installed and it doesnt blow the smoke it used to:mad:. could it be the vp44:confused:? fuel pressure is at 15 psi idling and around 10 psi full throttle. what are some symptoms of the injector pump going bad:confused:? i have about 1 month left on my warranty and if its the pump i will try to get it replaced before warranty runs out:D.

TIA

I will second the bleeding out the air from the lines. The 24v trucks are notorious for this and will even do it when your hard on the throttle with the box turned up and have to lift suddenly. I have a few friends who actually carry their injector line wrench in the carry pouch on the door so they do not have to search for it,LOL... ... Andy

Settin` any codes?

i tried the key trick but i couldnt get anything. i took it to the dealer and they came up with code p0234 they say its a bad turbo and since its under ext. warranty they ordered a new tubo and will install it in a week or so.

i dont think running out of fuel would cause the turbo to go bad:confused: but maybe the turbo has been going and running out of fuel made the injector pump weak and the combo of the two made it seem to be really down on power.
