My buddy has 2003 duramax and ran it out of fuel, as I'm not familiar with Isusu engines does any one know the proper way to bleed the air out of the injector pump? Thanks Marty

It has a small priming pump on the fuel filter assembly. Before you pump it up, open up the plastic vent screw right next to it to purge the air. Don't even think about cracking the injectors or you will get 25,000 psi of fuel coming at you. Wish my truck had a pump setup like that... #ad

Get A beer

You will have to pump it quite a bit to get fuel all the way from the tank you can shoot some compressed air into the tank while pumping to speed up the process otherwise just keep pumping! Once fuel comes out of the screw, close it and it will fire right off.

We don't mind helping out other makes - what is more surprising is that folks here know enough about other makes to help out! Gotta love the ol' TDR!
