For those of you who have Rancho 9000 shocks installed:

1) what setting do you place them on when you are driving around the town or back forth to work?

2) If you tow a fifth wheel and place significant weight on the bed, what are your settings?

3) Are there different settings for a 2500 vs. a 3500?

Thanks for your input.

regards,

Ed

I set the 9000s on the front on either 3 or 4 and the rears on eitherr 1 or 2 depending on how lightly loaded the truck is. I have a small 5th wheel (24') and only have about 1000 lbs on the hitch pin so I leave the fronts on 3 or 4 and the rears on 3 or 4. I use the 5 setting when I fill the bed with lots of extra stuff for extended trips. (generator, gas, fuel, tools, extra spare, etc. ) The adjustable feature really makes a difference.

I usually keerp my fronts on 3 & back on 2 rides great empty that way, then when I haul the back I normally put the back up to 5

I have my front set at 3 and rears set at 2. when I haul or tow, they both go up to 4. When I overload, they go to 5. With the reunel combo up front, I had to go with higher rate springs, and dial back one click in the front. The factory shocks were really pathetic, maybe would be fine on a Tundra or something
