I replaced my OEM shocks at 1300 miles with Rancho 9000s. I now am at 50,000 miles and the rear shocks don't seem to have much control. About 20,000 of the miles on the truck were with a small slide in Scamper Camper or a small 24 foot 5th wheel camper. I am more than willing to replace the Ranchos with the same thing but I am wondering if any one has any experience on the number of miles you can reasonably expect from a set of these premium shocks?

And, yes, I still have the original factory shocks. I won't waste my time putting them back on.

If it's the back ones that you suspect is bad pull one off and compare the 1 setting to the 5, there is a big difference in compression and rebound. I think mine came with a lifetime warranty. If there is not a noticable difference between high and low setting take em back. You will probably need the original purchase reciept.

Yes, you should be able to get the shocks replaced under the lifetime warrantee. But can't see how they can hold up for much more than 50K miles at the #5 setting and a full load.
