Rancho RS9000 air leaks

While I do like my Rancho RS9000 shocks overall, I have had repeated air leaks throughout the system. I thought I'd once read a thread about a guy who offered updated connectors and/or different lines for this system. Does anybody know anything about that? What fixes for the leaks have seemed to work?

I've heard this is why most people don't use the air lines.
