It seems most people that have them, like them and they do what they are suppose to do. I'll give them a try and hope they work for me.

Yes you are right Summit does have them. BUT, this SALE is a RANCHO sale, you can get the buy 3 get 1 free offer at any Rancho dealer. This way you can support the shop you like most.

Summit is a great place to buy from, and they do also have a deal on the Air Lift air bag kits.

Happy Shopping

FWIW:

I was told by a parts dealer that Rancho is just a trade name, the real manufacturer is Monroe, and you can get the same shock from Sears under the Monroe lable for a lot less. Personally I have Edelbrock IAS on my Dually 4x4 and they have worke great for the last 2 years in controlling the 4300# load of my Lance 1121 slide in. Joe

Joe, That is typical parts dealer bullsh*t. I know, I was one for several years (even sold Monroe's). There is a bunch of info on the Rancho site, but the upshot is that the real Ranchos (the RS5000 and RS9000x series) are only sold as Ranchos. There were some "entry level" Ranchos that had a twin in the Monroe lineup (1000 series, I believe), but the parts guys conveniently only have a small part of the picture. I wonder just how many Monroes have been sold using that particular line.

Okay - my truck will be hitting 2 years old come another month and I'm thinking it's time to replace the OEM shocks. Does the Rancho come with all that is needed for the install? Is there another thread or site with pictures of the install of the front/rear shocks?

Thanks, Michael

Yes, you get what you need. New nuts and bushings for the front, and you use the OEM nuts and bolts on the rear. Also, they come with boots all the way around.

Pics, I'll post some tomorrow if I have time.

Ordered 9000's for mine yesterday. I had them on an old chevy that I had, and they were great. They had 150,000 on them when I sold it, and they still worked great pulling a trailer. Hope they are just as good on the Dodge.
