96 dakota wheel??? Help

Unbelievable!!

Took my son and his friend to Knob Creek Gun Range, near Louisville, Kentucky, for the spring Machine Gun Shoot and Gun Show (they have another one in the fall, first weekend of October). While we were browsing the tables, I turned around and glanced at a man sitting with a woman, then did a double take. It was Randy Weaver, of Ruby Ridge, Idaho fame... I'd had my head down looking at all the tables, and missed the overhead banner. He got a good laugh out of the expression on my face when I read the banner to confirm my suspicions.
I enjoyed talking to him for a few minutes. He and his new wife were there at the invitation of the promoter, and signing autographs and copies of his book. I asked him to come back for the fall event. I hope he does.
Whether you share all of his beliefs or not, it meant something to me to meet a man strong enough and brave enough to take a stand for his beliefs, especially in the most important one of all... . FREEDOM !!!

We talked about kids, Cummins powered Rams, Harley-Davidsons, etc. not guns or politics.
No, he did not seem a bit "off" at all.
The early books written on him and the Ruby Ridge fiasco painted an unflattering portrait of him, as a white supremacist with paranoid tendencies. Later reports indicate he has mellowed somewhat in his views. It doesn't matter what he believes, as far as race and religion, because he should never have been put through what he went through.
Buy the books, read them, form your own conclusions. "Off" ? Perhaps... but let me ask you, who the heck are we to stand in judgement of him? I can't remember the last time I met anyone who didn't have his own faults, quirks, handicaps, or irregular tendencies, or even extremist views.
I can't say here whether I endorse the man or his politics, because I did not ask him, flat out, did not get the answer from him, rather than a book wriiten by a third party.
It doesn't matter to me. He took a stand for freedom, and was fully justified in doing so. He is a living reminder of the dangers of Big Government.

I think the ATF agent who shot Randy's wife should be in jail.

I know 2 wrongs don't make a right, but if the Government had handled Ruby Ridge and Waco differently, Oklahoma City would have never happened.

Ahhh... . another reason I should have braved the 15++ hour, 800 mile trip after finishing up midnights on Friday morning. #ad

I wanted to go in a bad way (little brother made it) but figured I'd fall asleep right around the Pittsburgh area.
I have to be in work on Mon morning, maybe this fall. Actually... if I'm scheduled to work this fall, I'm not!!!
This job really gets in the way of having a "normal" life. #ad

I almost wished I didnt get payed as well as I do, this way I'd quit. #ad

I agree with you Hemi, the sniper should be in prison, and so should his superiors... actually the sniper who killed Vicki Weaver was named Lon Horiuchi, and was in the FBI. It was the Feebies that fubbed it up big time. But the ATF bears the blame also.
Know what ya mean about work, Patriot, mine's a bummer, too, I'm only off every other weekend. But it pays the payment on that massive, over-powered diesel toy parked out front.
As for events, c'mon down to Budd's Creek, Maryland for the Cummins Big Rig Nationals on April 21 if you're off work, and look me up. I'll be there. Shouldn't be too big of a drive from NJ... You too, Hemi, c'mon down, it'll be a blast.

Yes Freedom, The most important right of all.
Without the NRA no Freedom. Trade the Klinton's for our Navy Air Crew.
