Looking to get a Raptor 100 my local diesel injection company had only the 150 in stock. No change in part number for in or out of tank (I'm in) we decided it must come with what was needed. Had a Cummins tech install the pump. Picking up my truck he told me I now will run out of gas at a 1/4 tank. I see in the forums now this is common knowledge but am disappointed that this design is sent to fly. I bought a vehicle specific pump and have lost 8 gallons of fuel tank. A little rubber hose please? Drawstraw V is the answer! Another 40 dollars (from Genos Great Price!!), shipping, and another install (now with more fuel!!!). I make money only to spend it but there is more I can do for my little Ram. I've heard the 100 may or may not need a drawstraw. If I had known this was the case I would have still bought a Raptor but it would have been the 100. Perhaps the cost of the drawstraw for 150 would bring the price to close to Airdog models to not want to negate the need for the Raptor pump. I like the ease of the stock filter availability, no need to bring UPS into my fuel filter changes any more than they are. So I went with Raptor. Waiting to hear from Pureflow tech support, no return call today, lets see what they will tell me. And Raptor please, lets get this fixed?
