I have a 99 and moderate upgrade chip so I'd like to upgrade the lift pump. What would be the best way to go, a raptor or a fass lift pump. I have read that some have had problems with the fass being replaced in less then 5000 miles.

I went with the Raptor pump. One thing I thought with the FASS or the AirDog is what if there is ever a failure. What then? To me you would be left not only without a l. p but also filtration if you removed the factory filter canister. Yes, I know failure rates are very low if any but still what if? Also with some of these set ups you might have to drop the tank for a new return line. I wanted simple and something I could swap out with my factory Carter if needed. My Raptor is in the same spot as my Carter and with all AN fittings a change would be very simple. I have a filter set up similar to what Glacier Diesel sells and I know the Carter would have it hands full pushing through them but at least I could drive easy and get back on the road.
