Gutbag Question...

I just had my getrag rebuilt, installed it and noticed a small clicking/rattle noise in every gear and neutral with the clutch completely released, the noise will go away with any clutch pressure or if I hold on to the fork under the truck, the slave keeps a small amount of pressure on the fork but not enough to keep it quite, It is a new clutch/flywheel/bearing from south bend and i could not tell if the noise was there before as the trans made to much noise,

any ideas, should I even worry about it other than it is annoying, is my fork/pivot worn or is the spring in the slave not strong enough. thanks chris

If you bought SBs new 13" clutch and pressure plate there was a note in the box regarding a noise which is harmless. This is due to the change in the center section and the use of neoprene style "springs" in this section. I would call Peter at SB and talk to him to confirm.

so, dont put the washer in the 13125 clutch kit behind the pivit ball on a getrag, it makes the release bearing rattle like a b!^@#
