Rattle in Drivers door?

Anyone had any rattles in the drivers door? I've got an '04 quad cab, and seem to have a rattle somewhere on the drivers side. I think it might be radio related (I have the infinity system).



Just wanted to know if anyone had a similar issue. I don't trust or like my local dealership and I don't want to take it too them for such a minor issue until I can narrow down the rattle.

yea i have it to get rid of it take the door panel of 3 screws and put door sealer strips where you can see it rubbing. i took mine to the dealer several times with it getting no better! my 99 had 130K hard miles on it with no rattles whatsoever and this one had the door rattles within weeks. poorly designed door panels easy fix though!

I have a rattle too, but it's a speaker problem. I have the Infinity systems and the speaker sounds like it is blown when you turn it up. I installed sound deadner in the door and it helped. I have plans on upgrading the entire system so I'll see if replacing the speaker helps.

Yep, I'm thinking it's the speaker too. Have you tried replacing your speaker or did you just add some sound deadening?

I have rattles in the door panel and dash... take it to your 5 star Dodge dealer, they will work hard to resolve your problem... . NOT!



I took off the panel, and plastic crap, resecured the wiring harness that runs along the armrest, and resealed the plastic panel and it seemed to help.



The rattles I cannot solve are the cupholdet that I ended up removing and there is the most annoying rattle ever somewhere deep down in the dash.



I wish the engineers at DC were as attentive to their quality as Cummins is!

i will make the infamous statement once again dodge better thank thier lucky starts they have cummins b/c if ford did they would be out of bus.

I didn't have on till they fixed the window tint scratching problem. Now theres a nice Buzzzzzzzzz coming from the drivers side.

Dodge replaced my speaker and the problem went away.

I'll I've done is add FatMat. I want to replace all the speakers so I havn't tried taking it to the dealer to replace the one. I don't know for sure if the speaker is the problem.
