Sometime back I lost 3/4 of my trans (manual) fluid on a trip. Replaced the leaking seal, refilled and all seemed ok, however, now have a new development for which some input would be appreciated.
When starting out with a cold truck, get a strong rattle in 4th gear for about 4 to 5 miles, then it stops. Will not re-occur the rest of the day. Am familiar with the rattle that is due to loose nut in the shift handle. That is not the problem here.
Any ideas?
