2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission Rattle/squeak from under dash

Hi,



Anyone else with an auto have an annoying rattle, vibration squeak, that sounds like it is coming from under the dash? I think it may be my shift linkage? I notice that when it is happening, I shift it down into 2nd or 1st (depending on speed) and sometimes it will go away for a few seconds. Has anyone found a cure for this?

Spray some WD or silicone spray on the bellcrank and shift linkage in the bushings on the transmission,cured mine. .
