Attention: TDR Forum Junkies i think it goes away as the truck warms up, but i hear a rattle, more distinct if you listen under the body. the rattle sort of sounds like piston slap or loose rockers. i'm new to diesel. it's a 99, had it for about 2 weeks. it's got 117k on it, been towed with once, long drives for work and state to state for pleasure. the original owner gave me a 2" thick folder with maintenance/service records, and really, it didn't have any problems. i can't recall if the sound was there when i bought it, just started hearing it the other day. being my first 'new' car and financing it i'm a little worried 
i can get a sound file for it tomorrow if it will help. just wondering if a little rattle is normal. i've got gauges, and the mounting pod and fuel pressure guage will be here tomorrow, so i'll be able to keep an eye on things. supposed to tow with it in a week or two though so... any help is appreciated. thanks.
