I thought I had a rattle in the dash/steering column. I lubed everything.
Then i went under to change the transmission fluid and saw that the shift link to the transmission was very close to a cooler line.
i bent the end lever on the bracket that is mounted to the frame to give the connecting link more clearance.
No more rattle.
Guess it was traveling up the shift mechanism.
