just figured id ask if anyone has had a rattling noise due to wind (starts about 45 mph and gets worse as speed increases) that sounds like its coming from the cowl between the windshield and the hood? also,in yalls opinion, what would be the best clutch to put in my truck for longevity and holding power. the stock one is starting to slip after install of the TST 60hp box.

thanks for any info

RATTLE AND CLUTCH

ABOUT THE RATTLE IN DASH, CHECK PLASTIC AT BASE OF WINDSHIELD, FASTENERS COULD BE LOOSE. YOU COULD STICK SOME MORTITE OR PUTTY UNDER EDGES. LOOK TO WEST BEND CLUTCH IN INDIANA, THEY HAVE THE ANSWERS. TBOB

Trim Fasteners

TBOB's right, the rattle your hearing is the plastic cowl trim slapping against the bottom of the windshield. On my truck 2 of the plastic fasteners, that hold the trim on, were missing. You can either get them from the dealer, or try an auto parts store like PepBoys. They have some specialty trim fasteners. I just got new ones from the dealer, for under $4. 00.

:D :DNow the only rattle I hear comes from under the hood!:D :D
