Hi all, I went straight pipes about 3 months ago and it was fine for a while but that constant drone and vibration was enough for me to search out a better way. I went to my local midas shop and talked to the manager there and he said that i wasn't the first straight piped diesel owner that he has seen. He recommended the ravin performance muffler,long story short it sounds great. I would recommend this set up too anyone. straight pipe into ravin muffler turned out in front of rear passenger side tire,with a chrome 45 degree cut 4inch tip. The sound is louder than stock with a throatier sound and no vibration.

5" Works TOO!!!

If you step up to the 5" you will get rid of it too. Then you can have bragging rights of the massive pipeLOL

mufflers

a long 4" i/o truck muffler did it for me. with a complete 4" system, it sure sounds good. mine was a goerlich's muffler. i did it all myself with stainless steel clamps. every day it sounds better to me. boy, can you hear the turbo out the pipe!!
