Re-cal speedo.

Can anybody tell me if a dealer will re-calibrate a speedo, for increase tire size. Or, if i do have to buy a box to do this, will it void the warranty. Hopefully this is not too stupid a question. My son has an 05 3500 sb 4x4 that he lifted and put 20x37 tires on.

The dealer should be able to do it. Its just an adjustment in the ABS system if I remember right.

I too have liftede and put larger tires but my daeler wants $180 to reprogram comp. for tire size.

Get Hold of a Smarty

Find somebody near you with "Smarty". You can use the Smarty to reset your tire size without unlocking, loading or changing the ECU Smarty Softwares. (At least on the 2nd Gen Smarty. [This disclaimer is for Signal 73, whom likes to point out that I'm a 2nd Genner! ]) Moose00
