Does anyone know how to disable the drivers door dinger

so the key can be left in the ignition while the door is open?

Other than a set of wire cutters, I`m betting there is no other way (in the computer) to do it. Its not one of those things thats usually turned off. .

There may be a plug you can disconnect, go fishing under the dash with the dinger on. . you`ll find it. .

i beleave your dealer will use his dlb scan tool to remove it !tom

Try the tip from Issue 67,page 8 and see if it works on the 2010 truck.

Thanks for the tip
That did work for the seat belt dinger
but not for the key in ignition with truck in accessory position
and the drivers door open

Any other suggestions?
