Re enter user name and password every time??

Hi guys, I got another question. In the past day or two, I've have been having to re enter my name and password for every post.
I dont mind doing it at the work puter, but it's a PITA at home.

PS I deleted all my cookies, and I'm going to try setting my preferences, but dont have much hope since I did this a couple times in the past few days.

I've been having the same problem recently,I just reset my cookies when I first log on now so I don't have to fool with it.

If you use IE 5. 0 or later, you can turn on auto complete and let Windows save your password. Then when you want to post, double click the name box, select your user name and the password will be filled in automatically. It's not as slick as a cookie, but if you have cookie trouble it's worth a try.

I too seem to be having a lot of cookie related problems latley. What going on???????

HTML specs specify that there can be a maximum of 20 cookies per domain name, and a total maxium of 300 cookies. So if you visit a lot of sites, cookies get bumped off as new ones are set, oldest first.
