Does anybody have any idea why I would have to enter my id and password multiple times while moving around in the forums. Also, I have to login everytime I come back to the tdr. I have the option marked yes on both the cookie option and the login option. I only have this problem on my desktop and not my laptop. When I use my laptop it automatically logs me in when I go to the TDR. Please help!! Thanks.

I'm getting all forums marked ar read automatically.

This is a major PITA when my wife uses the puter.

Do I have to make another page my home page?:(

If you have the privacy setting all the way up, it might do this.

Eric, logging on to TDR and not looking at it (or even looking at it) will cause the unread posts to reset for the next visit. That's why I don't use TDR as my homepage, don't want the unread threads resetting every time I open IE. My homepage is About Blank.

Kind of makes the "Mark all forums read" button unnecessary.

The mark forums read is really handy, I read the TDR, mark them read..... go about my business then refresh the forum page, only new posts show up.

Don't use the forums page as your home page. But you can use the "homepage" of the TDR as your homepage, works fine.

This just started happening to me a few days ago. Now almost every time I have to log on twice. I haven't changed anything in my computer. I don't like it either.

Try clearing your cookies and then logging back in. If you click on the f. a. q. button in the upper forums buttons or go here - https://www.turbodieselregister.com/forums/misc.php?s=&action=faq there are instructions for manually removing your ookies. You will want to remove the cookies that point to http://128.242.249.86 as well as http://216.235.147.117 in addition to https://www.turbodieselregister.com . The 128... is the IP address of the old server and 216. . is the IP address of the new server. Clear all those cookies out, then log back in and see if it fixes the problem. With the forums moving around a few times they may be giving you trouble.
