Ok guys, I know a S#*t load of us have had to replace them, especially the Drivers side, I personally have to replace them every 20-28k miles since new to prevent contamination of the brake pads. I've used rtv sealant when fitting them, I've greased them with axle grease then tried just axle lube, and still they will eventually leak.

So has anybody found out why they fail so easily

Thanks in advance

Try a Jiffy sleeve

Did my drver side twice when it did it the third time I picked up a jiffy sleeve when I got the seal and put it on. it's been working fine no more leaks. A piece of plastic water pipe makes a good tool to drive the sleeve on with. Good luck.
