Ready for more power. I have some questions first.

Ok i am ready for some more power. But i have a couple of questions first. You can see in my sig what is on the truck now. I want to add a TST power kit & a governer spring kit. My question or concern is will my auto trany hold that power? If not what can i do other than replace the TC? The trany was rebuilt in 99 so it is new. It has firm shifts and dose not feel like it is slipping. I am thinking of adjusting the bands when i change the fluid. Any advise would be great.

The first thing that ya' need , and I can't stress this enough is a set of guages. Next , if i'm not mistaken the stock trans. is good for 70 extra horses after that you're gonna need to increase the pressure in the transmission . (valve body) I personally have a 96' (see sig. ) and the DTT valve body is doin' a fine job keeping up with the #5 plate I installed. I can honestly tell ya' though , if you ever ride in a truck with an aftermarket TC, you'll put one on your wish list.
