Does anyone know what the capacity of the rear diff is on my 99. It says on the tag under the hood that it is a Spicer and the front is a Dana 60. Thanks for any help i need to know how much Amsoil to buy.

What rig do you have? Ratio? LSD? 4x#?

If you have the owner's manual the fluid capacities are listed there. If you're w/o manual and needing to know in order to purchase fluid/order it, hopefully this link will prove useful to you.

Good Luck Bro.

Ps. Running Series 2000 75W140 in my rig out back and been trouble free.

If its a 2500 or 3500 w/ a cummins I think it will have either a Dana 80 hybrid (80housing70ends) or an 80, respectively.

Not 100% on that though.

Sorry.

This is for Cummins equipped trucks only. If you have an automatic transmission and it's a 2500 you have a Dana 70 in the rear. If you have a manual transmission in a 2500 or a 3500 then you have a Dana 80H rear.

If it's an auto box its got dana 70, std 2500 is 80 hybred, 3500 is a dana 80. all front use dana 60. Dana 80 uses 3. 3l or 6. 8pts, 70 uses 3. 2l or 6. 7pts, 60 uses 3. 0l or 6. 3pts. Hope this helps.
