My 2500 4X4 quadcab long bed is a miserable ride unloaded on unpaved/gravel roads with a "washboard" surface. It is all over the road at speeds over about 5 mph, which is embarassing, as well as annoying. Has anyone else had this problem? Is the solution just to carry a few bags of sand in the back??

Check your tire pressure against the chart that came with your owner's manual. Unloaded you can probably go 45psi front and 40psi rear. That should help alot and when they're available, throw some stiffer shocks on the rear. I'm still waiting for some to become available for a 2X4.

I have been running 50 in the front and 45 in the rear unloaded. I also keep two bags (100 lbs) of salt as far back as possible.

T first I thought the T Rex was the double axle 6x6 conversion.

I followed the link and read thru their FAQ. It does sound lika an interesting suspension system. Sort of looks like some taller coil springs and a set of 4 shocks with a couple mounts for a hefty $$$ though.

Am I one of the few that is running my Michelins with the recommended 80psi? Or are these lower pressures for other tires?

:) Thanks everyone! I am going to try dropping my pressure from the current 60 psig all around and I am going to throw a few bags of sand in the back. Sure hope that helps!
