where can i find information about my rear axle so that i can get the correct after market locking differentials?



or does anyone know...



2003 dodge ram 3500 quadcab srw 4x4, 6spd manual.

American Axle, 11. 5". I have not seen where a locking diff is available for the Dodge application yet. Do you have a source for one?

but i don't know if the axle for my truck is listed.



i've called 2 of the distributors of the detroit locker and detroit trutrac... and they seem to think that there is one available for my truck... they just need the axle information (so they say).

I don't know what there is for "our" axle but GM uses a very similar version in their trucks and the G80 GM locker works great. If it will fit our trucks, which it should, that is the way I would go.



On your '03 you may have a 10. 5 rear axle if your 3500 is a srw SO or California truck. Or did all 3500's come with the 11. 5?

if it is a SO auto then it will have a 10. 5, All HO's and manual SO's have the 11. 5 axle
