Rear axle

How can I find out what the number is on my rear axle? I know it is a limited slip, 3. 73 but when ordering a new differential cover they want a number, like Dana 60 or 10. 5 or 11. 5 etc. but cannot find any paperwork that came with the truck that provides that axle information. Thanks.

:-laf Truck info would be a good start. Most have the 11. 50 inch AAM
