Rear Axle

I Have read all the info I can find on the merits of rear axle ratios 3. 54 vs 4. 10 but have not been able to determine which axle I have. I Have a 1998. 5 with auto transmission. Help

Look at your back diff cover and there should be a tag on one of the bolts with it on it.

There is also a sticker on the bottom side of your hood near the front grille. The sticker has all the truck's info like transmission, 4x4 or not, rear end gears.
