Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) Rear band adj. w/Suncoast valve body

So I went to change the fluid/filter and adjust the bands on my 47RE and the Suncoast valve body has a laser cut logo tag that blocks me from getting a socket and torque wrench on the adj. nut. A call to Suncoast only got me a short answer of "adjust the band to 1/4" of travel".



Is there another or better way to make this adjustment?

can you remove the tag?? bend it off or cut it?... pretty critical that band is set right and not just a close enough adjustment.

I ended up just bending the tag out of the way. I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a trick to it... . thanks
