Rear Brake Shoe Size?

I have a 92 Dodge W250. I was wondering what size the rear brake shoes are? 12"x3" or 12"x2. 5"? Thanks guys.

12X2. 5 for single wheel, 12X3 for dually

If you are happy with the current braking, and see no need for additional power, then stick with what you got. However, if you are like the 99. 99% of the rest of us who would always like more whoa power, then go for the 12x3 and 1 to 1-1/8" wheel cylinders. Some say the 1 inch wheel cylinders actually give more bite and stopping power.



Stock was normally 12x2-1/2 for the 3/4tons.

Chassis cab SRW is 3".

D350 pickup SRW is (was!) 2 1/2. If you go to 3", either turn the drums or replace. I did that on my truck when my cousin owned it 10 years ago!
