2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission rear brakes from napa

i just purchased rear brakes from napa. the best they had. about $83. i happened to ask the dealer how much the rear brake shoes cost and they said about $45. ? what's up?



btw, this was the same dealer that quoted me $75 for the rear speed/abs sensor... ... ??

That is about what I paid for mine at Napa. They are lifetime warranty, and stop a lot better than the OEM shoes. I don't mind paying double if I never pay again and get better braking.

If I'm remembering correctly, the dealer price was way more than NAPA's best for my 95'. That's been a couple of years, though. Prices could have changed.

Maybe the dealer was quoting you the price for one shoe, wouldn't put it past them.
