2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission rear brakes not grabbing too well, and cant find proportioning valve

Did you try to manually adjust the rear shoes?

also install the 1 ton slave cylinders. . a real help

On the drivers side there is the battery then the black plastic box full of relays and fuses then the modulator. There is also the height sensing valve. Frame on drivers side with rod down to rearend.



Have you tried power flushing the system? I did this to my 98 and it helped. Brakes work like new truck again.
