Your differential is not an AAM like the Ram 2500s and 3500s. It's unique to Ram 4500/5500 trucks and maybe Furd C&Cs and not common among TDR members so it may be a little hard to come by.

Have you tried googling the manufacturer's name?

I believe they are Dana's, but not sure of the size, for some reason 110 comes to mind, but 5500 and 4500 are different sizes I believe. Contact your dealer for that info. Look on line for the installation procedure or try YouTube.

No I havent, I dont know the manufacturers name of the differential.

It is a Dana product, heavier than the one used on the 3500s, perhaps the same one used in Furds. Bill Stockard knew how to find that differential on the Dana website with detailed information and sent it to me several years ago, probably when I was looking at and considering a C & C. I thought I saved it but can't find it. Dana 151 is in my fading memory but I tried keying that into google and its not correct.

I tried looking through the Dodge Body Builder website this morning but couldn't locate any information on it.

I'll email Bill and ask him if he still has it.

Notice that nut torque is 625-750 ft. lbs.

New seal will be available at any truck dealer, used on the bigger trucks as well. That is ETN 127591.

You may want to get a new nut as well which is ETN 130542. That is common only to that family of rear axle.

I bet you will have to order the nut if you want it.

Mike. :)

You're always a great source of accurate information, Mike.

Hmmm. 625 to 750 lbs. is going to be a bit of a challenge to remove and reinstall, torque that big nut under a shade tree.

It shouldn't take long if taken to a real truck shop. I don't recall what the flat rate is, but if you call a shop, they can quote the labor charge.

Well, I might just have to bring it in and have it done. Ive done smaller trucks and cars, but Id hate to break it down and realize its a bit much for me.

Thanks Harlow and Mike for all the info!!! And yes Im a Boudreaux!! Lol.
