OK Gang,

Starter the tear down to install the rear disc brakes. Before I started, I purchased new gaskets, nut lock, adjusting nut and bearings. Mopar dealer cost for the parts was as follows: gasket - $7. 00; nut lock - $7. 52; nut - 37. 57; bearings - 46. 58. local Valley truck parts quoted the following: . 85; 5. 20; 6. 54; bearing cost not yet established. OK gang, what am I missing? This is one HUGE difference in price! Is Valley using imported junk?

Too many hands touching the part and trying to pull money out of it at Mopar. Mopar parts are probably the same or lower quality than the ones from Valley.

JMHO
