I have a 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 SLT, LWB Ext cab, 4x4 5.9 Cummins.
Nothing works in/from the rear doors, locks, speakers, lights, etc.

I've checked in the rubber boot and there are broken wires.
The cheapest replacement harnesses I've found are from Tasca at $108.00 each.
That little harness should cost about $25.00.

I might pull the harnesses and rebuild them, but before I do I'd like to see if anyone has a good source for reasonably priced:
1. Replacement harnesses
2. Connectors (With pins) for me to build new harnesses with proper wire

It's sad that Dodge designs things in this manner, I'm not sure how much they saved on paper per vehicle with ultra cheap wiring, but it sure wasn't worth it.
We shouldn't have to rebuild things like this.

Any help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
Brett

Well if you do buy a replacement harness, just keep and rebuild the original one, using fine strand RC wire, solder and marine shrink tube, for that time when the replacement also fails. That is what I did.

I just did this on both my rear door. I paid for the replacements and plan on fixing the originals.

I would save the money and repair what you have. A little wire, solder, and shrink wrap will fix it just as good as the new harness.
