rear drive shaft yoke oil leak ?

I have a 04 drw 3500 reg cab 4x4 with a nv 5600 my problem is at my yoke for the rear driveshaft , in the center of the yoke there is a cap and its leaking oil from my transfer case i was wondering if any one has had this problem and what they did to repair the leak any help would be appreciated

I've had this problem with my 04 and chased this problem for a 100K miles... . finally decided after replacing this seal 3 or 4 times that the seal was getting banged from the end of the drive shaft... . we did 2 things... .



1 - we put an air bag system on the truck so that when we are pulling we can control the road height of the back of the truck..... we tow 20K 95% of the time..... and in doing this we took out a very bad vibration on launch in low and 2nd gear... .



2 - we shortened the drive line about 1/2 to 3/4"... .



We have not had a seal failure... . and have looked at the end of the seal... and no longer see damage from the yoke striking the seal.....



Between the 2..... we've not had a problem..... until we did the above... nothing we could do would stop the oil leak... . the seal leaking is the systom..... not the fault... .



BTW this truck now has almost 200K miles... .
