To anyone with a temp gauge on their differential!

What is your normal fluid Temp at hwy cruise empty? - and on what fluid?

What kind of increase do you see when towing, climbing hills etc?

Anyone done study of Synthetic vs non? or 80-90 vs 80-140?

140-200 F if the backlash is set right (about . 006").

150deg average at all speeds and air temps even towing im running valvoline80/90 wt in my dana 80 with a power-loc and no additive

About 160 is the maximum that I've ever seen, but I don't tow heavy either. I'm using LE607 and a Mag-Hytec.

125F is avg running around town. 150F is max I have seen on the highway with strong head wind and steep uphill grade. Havent towed since guage was hooked up. I'm running Royal Purple 75w-140
