Rear end ratio?

I have a 2006 3500 single wheel long bed, and it lists the rear end as a 11:50, is that a 3:73 or 4:10? wonder why they just can't say 3:73 or 4:10?

11 teeth on the pinion and 50 on the ring gear would be 4. 54:1?? I don't know, just a guess, seems like too few teeth on the pinion? bg

Do they still put a tag on one dif cover bolt like the 2nd gens had that has the ratio?

it the size of your pumkin gear 11. 5 inches the hemi gets the 10. 5 incher aam.

The ring gear is 11. 5 inches. If you have a manual trans then the 3. 73 was the only choice ratio. If you have the auto then you could have special ordered the 4. 10 rear ratio or it is the 3. 73. If you did special order it you would have that on your paperwork. If you take your VIN to any DC dealer they can print you a build sheet on it so you know all of the details.
