has anyone made the 2nd gen plastic rear liners fit there 3rd gen?

I stripped them off my 96 trade and they are different for sure.

If not there going in the recycles this week:rolleyes:

You can pick up brand new ones from Dodge for $100 or something like that. They make them for the 3rd gens but you have to ask for them from the parts dept.

DBentley,

I thought about rear fender liners but don't they trap the salt? How do you rinse out the wheel wells? What am I missing? Is there a specfic road condition that would require fender liners?

Gravel and mud can be quite abusive to wires, and mud will pak into a nook and cause rust as well. I broke my front fender liner a couple of months ago, and I have already had to repair a couple of wires due to the gravel. We don't have to worry about salt over here though, I can see the advantage of being able to rinse off easily.

Ya i was thinking that im better off with out them for rinsing out the bed nooks and crannies. Ill keep the 100. 00 for the next fill up with liquid gold :{(diesel). Mabey mfaulk will get the old ones if i can figure out how were going to ship em
