rear flat load floor

I was wondering if a rear flat load floor can be added to a truck that has the rear bench seat and not the 60/40 split seat?

My truck is an 09' What years trucks would fit if I decided to call some salvage yards?

When they change the body style for 09, they did away with the flat storage for the rear seat. The older quad cab fold flat platform will not fit in the new body style. I wound up making one out of a piece of 3/4 Advantech and a couple of 2x4's, covered it with carpet to get a flat area for our dogs when we travel.

It did for me: For the diesels, I bought a used fold flat floor off a 2004 for $100 on e-bay from a dealer and installed in my 2009 4500. Works great.

2500 trucks were still the third generation.

I thought the body change was for '10? Did it change in '09 or was that late '09 when the '10 model went on sale?

My truck was manufactured in June of 09. 2010 is the 4th gen trucks.

1500, 2500, single wheel 3500 changed in 09 to the crew cab, 3500 dual wheel changed in 10.

Ain't Dodge confusing... my 2009 4500 is 3rd gen body style w/ single foldup bench in back that I installed the fold-flat storage into.



Since your's is 4th gen, I would think 4th gen fold flat floor, if offered, would work with your 4th gen.

You may have the quad cab and not the crew cab. They dropped the quad cab in 2010 models I believe.
