Just a quick question. My 03 Laramie quad cab came without rear floor mats. When I looked up what I had ordered back in May, I could not find any information on rear floor mats, only front. I guess I "assumed" that the price DC got for the Laramie package, it would include both front and rear. Did anybody get rear floor mats? Does anybody know what is this little oversight is going to cost me at the local Dodge parts counter? Next time I order a new truck, I hope I can order a finished one, wheel well inserts, floor mats, A/C condensation drip tube, etc. etc. ,----

Don't get me wrong, I really like my Dodge/Cummins truck, but give me a break on some of these cost cutting items!

Welcome to the Dodge "build-it-youself" kit truck :D !

I got only the fronts with the SLT and they are still in the package as I went with the Ram's head molded mats for the front and rear. Dont recall the cost but they are listed under the accessories on the Dodge order site. I "packaged" a bunch of stuff with the truck and also with a separate order with the dealer so some things were "free" but some things were full price ;). The only thing I dont like about the alum Ram head is the feet wear on the drivers side emblem (since that side "seems" to be used most often  - cant understand why tho). Do like them but also wish the drivers side had 2 hold-downs like the passenger side. The rear has the head in the center, over the hump and they fit good all around. The rubber Huskies are another choice.

just baught a larime also no rear matts bad form on dc's part. but i must say i picked up a nice set from wall mart for 10 bucks javascript:smilie('')

When I picked up my '03 last year, the dealer just walked over to another new truck and grabbed a front set for me... kind of like musical chairs, until the last guy doesn't get mats.

Depending how messy you are (I love mud), some of the best mats are made by Husky and Catch All. Husky mats are nice non slip rubber. The Catch Alls are carpeted and you can just hose them off. I think I paid about $120 for both fronts and the rear Catch-all for my '03. Very nice color match, but I had to order.

Here are the manufacturers, and tons of places carry them. I've used them on my last 3 vehicles.

Hope this helps.

anyone have the rubber molded Niftys? That's what I want, they seem a little better than the huskys(have them in my Jeep and don't like them)

I have a new Larmie too. Just another cost cutting measure by DC. At least I was able to get mine with the lighting packge( visor lights, ashtray lights, cup holder lights, and last but not least a hood light). On my second day of ownership I replaced all the mats with Husky liners( nothing better for the money, if you use the truck like a truck). The front and rears were $56. 00 and the center was $35. 00 with a cut out if you have a manual transfer cast. Would never own anything else!!!!

robobx I have the Niftys and wish I would have gotten the Huskys. The Niftys are not as nice as they look in the ads their ok but the Huskys are much much better.

I have had Huskys in my trucks for the last ten years and have been very happy with them. What I'm saying is take a good look at the Niftys before you lay out the cash.

The Niftys are not crap but the Huskys are better IMHO.

Thanks to all for the suggestions on the rear floor mats. or lack there of, to be more precise. I believe that I will try to get a set of Husky floor mats here in town if I can find them or get on the net. Just for the pure fun of it, I went down to a local Dodge vehicle make ready shop this morning and looked at an 04, 2500 Laramie, guess what? No rear floor mats here either. About the only thing that I saw much difference between the 03 and the 04 is the steering wheel, more squared off in the center, the audio control buttons where easier to work. No price was posted on the truck, so don't know what the price increase is. Also, no Exhaust Gas Recirculating system on that Cummins. Again, thanks to all for the replies.
