I'm having trouble inflating the inside tires on my 3500 I still don't get why Ram would put rubber valve stems on these 3500 trucks. Has anyone been able to change the rubber ones out for metal stems? The problem I have found is because I have tire pressure sensors on them, they won't work with the metal stems. There's no way to attach them on the inside of the tire on the valve stem. Anyone know if I remove the sensors on the rear inside tires, will the rest function properly. What are the ways that anyone has been able to inflate the rear tires? All help will be welcome.

Don't you have inflation shown on your EVIC?

I do but I also have ZERO issues inflating my 6 tires.

Here is one example Duryte 6-Inch "Solid Brass Dual Air Chuck with 1/4-Inch NPT Female Thread" copy n paste to AMAZON.

Yes to the EVIC. I have a chuck that's like that one. But it won't seal on the gauge I'm using Digital Tire Pressure Gauge 200 PSI, Tcisa Car Tire Inflator Gun, Tire Deflator, with Straight Lock-On Air Chuck, 90 Degree Valve Extender, Air Hose. The straight lock-on air chuck uses a o-ring to seal it. Do you have the flow thru caps on your rear inner tires?

I have to remove my wheel skins to easily get air in the tires. For the most part i adjust pressures when rotating tires. I have a two way air chuck like big rigs use.
On another note i think my rear has the flow through caps. How do these work? There is a bead on the top that pushes in and the caps are longer. So is this an area where i should get different caps to eliminate a failure point? For example if that bead gets lost will the tire deflate?

I don't have wheel skins on my 2014 they are solid aluminum alloy rims. What I'm thinking about doing is using valve stem extenders. That I will just put on and take off as needed.

I have steel wheel with the skins. I have always used the extenders, short ones, plastic and leave them on, never had a problem. bg

Look this up on AMAZON "4X4 Accu-gage" mine is like this but without the flexible part. Mine is the gauge with solid straight portion and double end. No issues filling or adjusting/checking pressure.
