Rear main seal

Looking for a shop, near Lakewood CA, to replace my rear main seal. any help would be appreciated.

Are you positive the seal is leaking. Many other sources can show as a rear main leak. Be sure before you spend the money.

Absolutely. I had the dampness on the bottom of the bell housing on my signature truck. I removed the inspection plate and it was dry as a bone inside. It was the "O" ring seal between the rocker box and the head that was leaking.

The back of the head is dry.

There is also the cam seal. I see more of those dry up and shrink on hi mile trucks

I would have sworn mine was leaking too but it was just oil from the draft tube hitting the housing and making a mess. I would pull the inspection plate and verify.
